a wager on which horses will finish a race in first, second and third place.

Type: 5. Frequency Triactor is a blend of tri and exactor. The term is almost exclusive to Canada (see Chart 1). Database searches show a factor of almost 50 for occurrences in Canada vs. the US (729 vs. 15 in LexisNexis, 11 Dec. 2013).
